I cannot recommend Corcapa or Rob Babcock highly enough. I was very much a beginner when my parents asked for my help in looking into 1031 exchanges. I had read some online posts and tried to educate myself with other resources but didn't truly understand all the rules and opportunities until I started working with Rob. He ALWAYS answered all of my questions in a humble and clear manner. He was the best kind of expert...he provided expertise openly, consistently and at any time of the day or week. When something was out of his scope, for example particular CA state tax implications for my parents, he quickly identified another expert and connected me to someone who handily answered my questions. All of my discussions with Rob made me comfortable in the major undertaking of setting up $1 million of my parents' assets in a Delaware Statutory Trust. I cannot overstate how confident I felt with Rob in my corner. When I began working with Rob, I let him know that I usually prefer working with women because of my intolerance for "mansplaining". I love that he made it clear he knew exactly what I was talking about and he never fell into this behavior with me. On another note, Rob never pressured me and always made me feel like I had plenty of time to complete the 1031 exchange. Once my parents' property was sold, the DSTs were completed in less than two weeks. I couldn't have worked with a better professional for my 1031/DST needs.
